New partnerships, new content and new hires: what more can you ask of spring?

shawn amosA Note From Shawn

We’ve been producing lots of fresh content for spring, as you’ll read in this issue. We’re also
happy to welcome our newest addition to the team, Christine Lusey, as our Social Media Director.
Christine is overseeing our growing social media strategy work as well as expanding our own platforms (gotta practice what you preach).

We’ve also been busy in the offline world. Fresh from my speaking engagements at SXSW in March and Ad:Tech earlier this month, I’ll be moderating a panel for The Milken Institute at 11 a.m., Monday, April 30, at the Beverly Hilton. Next-Generation Philanthropists and Social Entrepreneurs will feature Eric Dawson, Co-Founder and President, Peace First; Abigail Falik, Founder and CEO, Global Citizen Year; Ben Goldhirsh, Co-Founder and CEO, Good; Kimbal Musk, Co-Founder, The Kitchen Community; and Kirsten Tobey, Founder and Chief Innovation Officer, Revolution Foods. We’ll be discussing how social media can engage consumers or donors in the process of creating social change.

Thanks as always for your business, your interest, and your support. Enjoy the rest of spring.
VEVO

Live from New York, It’s…

The Digital Upfronts are taking place all over New York this week, and we were onsite to see our newest music series Cover Stories, which we coproduced with VEVO, unveiled yesterday during the invite-only VEVO NewFront. The series is a comedic take on the not- so-true stories behind some of our favorite album covers (like Outkast's "Stankonia" pictured).

Debuting the company’s 2012 programming lineup, VEVO’s Scott Reich (VP, Programming & Original Content) said that the music-centric originals will continue to give viewers exclusive access to their favorite artists but with a new focus on telling stories from the fans’ perspective.

Don’t miss our coverage this Friday on our weekly show, 60 Seconds of Social Media.

Pets, Animals, and Content Strategy on USTREAM

Not only are we serving up cute and cuddly fresh content with our Paws & Claws and A Is for Animal shows for USTREAM’s Pets & Animals channel, but we also recently played a key role in helping them expand operations and structure their content strategy.

USTREAM Founder and President Brad Hunstable said, "Amos Content Group became the secret weapon in our content strategy restructure, successfully providing both operational and content production services." Thanks, Brad, we can’t wait for future collaborations.

New "60 Seconds of Social Media" Distribution Partners

The Internet is complicated, but catching up on the latest social media news doesn’t have to be. Beginning this week, our new partnerships with Mashable — the largest independent news source dedicated to covering digital culture, social media, and technology — and ClearVision — the product of a new ConnectiVISION Digital Networks partnership with Clear Channel Airports — will see our 60 Seconds of Social Media series greatly expand its audience.
