New services, new clients, and a new panel. Just some of our Fresh Content.

A Note from Shawn

We're slipping into the holiday groove and counting our blessings as our second year comes to a solid close. In 2011, we grew our humble content group by 40 percent. Our roster has doubled with a slew of new and varied clients, from digital media companies and multinationals to cosmetic retailers and nonprofits.

As you'll read in this edition of Fresh Content, we are now diving deeper into social media strategy for many of our clients — a natural outgrowth from our daily content creation services. Our core competency is sustaining a client's voice on a daily basis across multiple online platforms. So it only makes sense for us to jump in earlier to help guide clients at the very start of their digital journeys, helping cultivate and articulate their voices as we build the various pieces of content needed to tell their stories.

Happy holidays and thank you as always for your trust and faith in us. We're looking forward to a super-sized 2012.

All Signs Point to SXSW

Amos Content Group is hosting a panel discussion at the 2012 SXSW Interactive Conference in Austin, Texas: "Voices Carry: Why Authentic Brand Voices Matter." We'll debate and discuss the business case for well-crafted editorial and video content as well as the necessity for authenticity.

Other panel participants include Michael Dutton from the Associated Press and Sarah Passe from CAA. The panel will be moderated by "What's Trending" co-host Melissa Rowley.

Connecting The Cos Bar with Cosmetics Lovers

Luxury cosmetics retailer The Cos Bar has 12 stores in such upscale resort locations as Aspen, Vail, and Wailea. Their customers have a penchant for high-end, high-quality products and a loyalty to their Cos Bar beauticians.

Amos Content Group is working with the brand to help nurture that relationship with their customers online. We are developing a multi-tiered social media strategy that supports The Cos Bar's daily content and is designed to keep their dedicated customers in-the-know, whether near or far.

Visit The Cos Bar at cosbar.com. Or better yet, become a fan of their Facebook page (see, that's how you start a social media campaign).

Change — and New Content — for Liberty Hill

It's a big part of the Amos Content Group's vision to provide more of our services for the nonprofit sector, where so much vital work is being performed with very limited staffing resources. That's why we're thrilled to be working with the Liberty Hill Foundation — whose mission is summed up by their motto, "Change. Not Charity." — in designing an online content and social media strategy.

Liberty Hill provides a unique combination of grants, leadership training, and alliance building for local Los Angeles community activists. We love knowing that the content we help create is being used to make the world a better place.
